Regardless of whether or not you read or respond to it, the existence of that e-mail has now altered your past, possibly in a life-defining way, but more likely by changing a detail so insignificant that you wouldn't notice it. Nonetheless, this change has now created two versions of you, in alternate universes, destined to live out their lives separately as a result of that change. From now on, whenever you feel incomplete, or like a part of you is absent from life, or something is missing, it is because of that e-mail willfully forcing you apart from another aspect of your self. The only solution: kill the spammer before their work of reckless personal-history-changing stretches the fabric of our already tenuous existence to the breaking point, allowing an invasion from creatures from other dimensions!
Or, another way to look at it, is that by the end of your live, the message will have changed your history. And it fact it has. If that message hadn't been sent, you would never have read this message!
