LJ has moods for "cranky" and "grumpy." Don't you think the difference between these is very, very subtle? How would you describe the distinction?
Ditto "gloomy" and "morose."
Ditty "aggravated," "irritated," and "annoyed."
Ditto "productive" and "accomplished."
What other LJ-moods do you think are redundant? And does this annoy, irritate, or aggravate you? or do I just need to get a life? ;)

Distinctions in my head
Date: 2005-02-24 08:20 pm (UTC)"Morose" has shades of "melancholy" which gloomy lacks.
"Irritated" is more petty and petulant than "annoyed", which is in turn less frothing-at-the-mouth than "aggravated".
"Productive" is for when you're working; "accomplished" is for when you've finished.
I'm aggravated, irritated and annoyed by the fact that there is no "apprehensive" icon, and no perfect synonym.

Date: 2005-02-24 08:27 pm (UTC)I agree with you on "aggravated," "irritated," and "annoyed."
But I can be "productive," as in "making progress" without actually feeling "accomplished." That's what I feel when it's finished and wrapped up.
The two LJ moods that elicit the most WTF? from me are "recumbent" (laying down is a mood?) and "exanimate," which is just a $5 word for "lazy."
(Keep in mind that I only answered this because I'm "bored" and "blah" not to mention "avoidant," but that one isn't official.)

Date: 2005-02-24 08:39 pm (UTC)I agree with you about "recumbent," although in that sense, "working" isn't really a mood either....

Date: 2005-02-24 08:34 pm (UTC)As long as "morose" and "meloncholy" have the same icon associated with them, redundancy has no effect...
