mamajoanHere I am in my new office, whee. (Oh, and for the benefit of those who don't/can't read my locked entries, the quick summary: I got moved to a new office.) The move actually went pretty smoothly. On Wednesday before I left for the day, I packed up all my stuff and put big "DO NOT UNPLUG" notes on my computer and its network cable. On Thursday while I was working from home the movers moved my stuff, except the computer, to my new office (and everyone else in my department moved as well). This morning when I arrived, I moved my computer over.
So all is mostly well here, except for not quite knowing where all my coworkers are, but that's part of the process. I did bring in the brownies and sent an email around saying "feel free to come help yourself to brownies, but you have to find me first." Heh. Many people managed to find me. ;) I did save a few brownies at home for us. This morning I gave Isaac a taste, but just a little because honestly I don't want to start him on brownies for breakfast quite yet. Maybe when he's two. ;) Naturally after the little taste I gave him, he came back saying "more." Ah well. :)
I haven't quite finished putting all my stuff up on the walls yet, but I did mostly recreate my "wall o'Isaac Art." Here's a picture of what it looked like in the old office. Each month in the infant room at daycare they do a different art project with handprints and/or footprints and/or fingerprints, which is so cool because you can track their growth. :) I have some of them at home and some I've given to grandma, but the majority of them are on my wall at work. It's good to look at while I'm typing away.
