wah wah wah
Mar. 26th, 2002 04:24 pmThe wah wah's were supposed to be Charlie Brown teacher noises.
I felt much better today after going to bed early last night. I'm hoping that I nipped the nascent cold in the bud, knock wood.
I wrote and mailed the final check to my uncle/grandma for the piano. It's now officially mine! Yay! And that's a hundred bucks I won't be paying each month, so it's almost like getting a raise. ;) Almost.
Got my first new chiropractic adjustment last night. It went well. I felt fine afterward, not sore or anything, which I'm not sure what that means, but we'll see. I don't have another adjustment till next Monday. (Did I mention how cool it is that my new chiropractor sends appointment reminders by email? :) )
In job news, the new project still hasn't started, although there's been a little progress. Supposedly, we're meeting with tech support tomorrow so they can tell us which bits are the most important. I'm guessing they're going to target our one-year-old release as the one the majority of customers are running -- as opposed to the three newer releases we've done since then -- so I'm going to have to take my brain back in time. Ow.
And on Thursday I have a job interview (also known as a lunch date) with a former coworker who left the company and started his own business. I'm way nervous and excited about this. It would be cool to work for and with him, and with another former coworker who works for him now. I'm just hoping that his knowledge of my intelligence and talent will outweigh my somewhat lame resumé. *twitch*
Choir rehearsals resume tonight. And three more weeks of Buffy reruns?! Augh!! I guess I won't have to worry about how late I get home from choir for a while. :(
