mamajoan1. Somehow suddenly I have ten (TEN!) new gmail invites. What the hell am I going to do with ten gmail invites?? Anybody out there still want one and not have one?
2. I was looking at the list of prizes I can claim from an online survey company where you get points for each survey you complete, and I noticed they have ... a remote cordless TV headphone system thingy! That lets you listen to TV through headphones without cords!! So you can watch TV without bothering anyone!! Like say the toddler you're trying to nurse to sleep who will never fall asleep if there's any TV noise!!!!
As you might guess from all the exclamation points, I immediately sent away for it. ;) I've been wanting one of those, because right now the only shows I can watch while nursing Isaac to sleep are ones with good closed-captioning, which is why I'm so far behind on Queer Eye and the Daily Show. For a while I was using my Walkman headphones with an extension cord, but Isaac kept messing with the cord, either deliberately or accidentally, and it was just not a good solution. I hope this one is going to work. I'm so excited! I might be able to finally get caught up on my Daily Shows! :)
3. Girl Scout cookies at work today!!! A little "teaser" of two cases for sale. And they were already sold out of shortbreads by the time I got there. :( What!!!! I have to wait till March for my shortbreads? AUGH! At least I scored some Thin Mints. Yeesh.
Guess it's time to break out my "Thin Mints uber alles" lj-icon again. :)
4. Harry & David's Royal Riviera pears are still the yummiest fruit ever. Seriously, those things are like fruit crack.
