stupid white fluffy crap
Dec. 20th, 2004 11:28 amWell, Isaac's first snowy morning of the winter was, heh, not the biggest success. He hated having his boots put on, and flat-out refused to even try walking on the snowy porch/stairs/sidewalk. The snow on the ground and in the air freaked him out. I had to carry him to the car. Then he kicked off his boots in the car. Apparently, his boots are a bit big. ;) Then he screamed the whole time I was scraping the ice/snow off the car. I don't know whether it was the noise scaring him, or he was just cold and bored and annoyed, but he wasn't happy. He calmed right down as soon as we got moving though.
Roads were fairly icky. Sure am glad to have the new car with the AWD and the overall not-sucking-on-snow-ness. Sure hope they get around to plowing the road to daycare before pickup time, 'cause it wasn't much fun getting there. Will probably leave work early if it keeps snowing all day.
En route, I saw a sign that said "Xmas [picture of tree] Ahead." But if you mistook the tree part for a decoration on the sign rather than an integral part, it looked like it said "Xmas Ahead," which I thought was kinda funny.
Also saw a bumper sticker reading, "Vegetarians Taste Better." I'm not sure whether that's an oral-sex reference (hence, vegetarian-friendly) or a cannibalism one (hence, anti-vegetarian). Eh?
In other news, thanks (or something) to
emrinalexander, I have "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas" in my head. And the MP3 on my computer! Yay!
I think I need a new default me-and-Isaac icon. The summery one just makes me sad now. :P
