Urgh. Round 11:15am I got that call. The, "your kid has a fever and you must remove him from the presence of the other kids" call. 102.4, they alleged. So I got him and took him to the office and he was totally cheerful and my coworkers looked at me funny when I said he was sick.
Then he took an almost-2-hour nap in my office. That was good. But now he's awake and droopy and sad. :( My poor boy. I'll probably have to take him home soon and hope he'll sleep more.
In retrospect, I probably should have known he wasn't well this morning when he cried all through being dressed and then wouldn't let me put him down so I could pee and then fell asleep on my lap on the toilet. ah well.
Mamas don't get to be sick when babies are sick ... sigh.
