mamajoanWow, is it 5:15 already? I just totally frittered away the afternoon. Go me! ;)
I had a good day off. I took that long shower, had that leisurely breakfast, then took the bus to the mall. It's hard to describe how good it feels to take the bus, because that would require me to describe how worn-down I get from all the driving I have to do every day, and that's a difficult thing to describe. So let's just say that taking the bus made me really happy, and leave it at that.
I thought I would do the entire mall, trying on fifty million pairs of jeans in fifty thousand different stores, but as it turns out I found the jeans I wanted in the very first store. LOL!! So I got two pairs of Levis at Sears for "only" $60 (okay, I know that is in fact cheap for jeans, but still, ouch) and then I wandered around the mall a bit. I wound up in the food court, had Indian for lunch (and how much do I love the fact that they have Indian in the mall food court?), found my way to the toy store, managed to escape with my credit card intact ;), and then caught the bus back home. And then frittered away the rest of the afternoon playing on the computer. :) Yay!
Now I better go eat something before my mom and Isaac get home. Maybe I'll watch some TV while I eat, just to make the goofing-off portion of my day complete. :)
