mamajoanWoke up this morning to the radio lady telling me that Christopher Reeve had passed away. :( I really thought he was going to beat the odds and walk again someday. May he rest in peace.
On a cheerier note, the traffic was pretty light today due to the holiday, and also to the fact that I left a bit late. Isaac was sleeping so soundly, and has been poorly lately, so I decided to let him sleep in a bit. It was no big deal since I don't have to be anywhere. So we left the house around 9:00 and I got home by 10:15, which is pretty impressive.
Now I have about six hours to myself before I have to go pick him up. Tempting as it is to spend the entire thing sleeping ;), I'm going to try to at least get one thing done -- buying myself a pair or two of jeans -- and maybe a couple more errands as well. But first, a looonnnnng hot shower and a leisurely cup of tea. :) Yay for holidays!

* Happy 16-month birthday to my little guy. (Isaac is one-and-a-third today!)
* Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.
* Happy three-day-weekend to my American friends who get today off work/school.
* To those who don't get the day off, uh, I hope your Monday doesn't suck. ;)
* And happy Coming Out Day to all!
