2. I feel like I've answered this one on LJ before but I can't find it. Baseball is just fun. It's an interesting game that doesn't normally involve a lot of violence (like basketball and football). It has a ritualistic rhythm that's easy to get into and the nuances of strategy and skill run deep, but you can also enjoy it without having to understand all those nuances.

really, how much a tattoo hurts depends on a whole lot of things -- your mood, where you are in your cycle, where it is on your body, how light/heavy a touch the artist has, the type of needle being used, how much you've eaten/drunk, and lots more. And I don't really "do" anything to deal with the pain, I just "grin and bear it."
