Here it is!
Jul. 25th, 2004 12:18 pmOK, here are the pix of my new tattoo, although unfortunately they're a little glare-y because it was shiny from ointment and that made the camera's flash unhappy. But hopefully you can kind of make it out.

Can you tell what it's supposed to be? So far a couple of people have said that they couldn't see it until I explained it, but then
jenwrites and
mishaslair saw what it was immediately. So I'm not sure how obvious it is. Anyway, look at it for a while and see if you can figure it out, and then I'll tell you what it is: a woman/goddess kneeling and holding her big pregnant belly, inside which is the symbol for Gemini, which is Isaac's birth sign.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it. And it hardly even hurt at all; I was surprised. This is my sixth and I'll definitely have to say it was my easiest.

Date: 2004-07-26 09:38 am (UTC)It was immdeiately clear from the secod picture (except for the gemini glare).
But it's actually really cool that you had the less detailed shot first, cause at that distance it made great rorschack fodder. I secod that the boobs'n'head are rather phallic, but my first impression was of birth-in-progress, the belly being the head crowning.
We lit majors let go of our multiple interpretations when you pry them from our cold, dead fingers.
