You know how the closed-captions on the news can often be a bit behind because they're typed in real-time and can't keep up? So tonight my TV happens to be on when the local news is doing the "summer movie preview" piece, and I look up, and the captions are saying "Vin Diesel finds a surprising partner in "The Chronicles of Riddick"" while on the screen is an image of Harry Potter waving his wand.

Wow. Now that's a summer crossover blockbuster if ever I heard of one! I'd pay $9 to see that, you better believe it.

And in "you know you're tired when" news, I just saw an ant walking across my kitchen floor carrying the corpse of another ant. Sadly my first thought was that he was taking his buddy home for a funeral and decent burial. ... Yeah, I need sleep. Dude.
