fool me once, and other embarrassments
May. 19th, 2004 10:58 amI got an email (actually in my spam folder) that started out thusly:
(if any of my Jennifer friends did send it and it's actually legit, let me know...)
In other news, I really have to get some more work-appropriate pairs of shorts. The shorts that I have that fit are a bit too short for my personal comfort in the office. Not that I think any of my coworkers will notice or care, but it makes me feel a little weird anyway. And I just can't bear to wear long pants when it's beautifully warm outside (even though it's cooler inside due to AC). So I guess I'll be wearing a lot of skirts until I can get around to buying some longer shorts.
And for my third embarrassment, there was a message on my voicemail yesterday reminding me that I have an appointment with my doctor's nurse-practitioner tomorrow. I completely forgot about it. D'oh! Now I'm going to have to figure out what to do with Isaac ... think he'll play quietly while mommy's getting her girl parts checked out? ;)
Hey,It actually came thisclose to fooling me, because I do have multiple friends named Jennifer. But, of course, that's why they picked Jennifer as the name to use! Because it was the most popular girl's name in my generation. Clever, tricksy spammers!
