Equal Rights at last!!

Last night we were at the party and celebration at Cambridge City Hall, where gay and lesbian couples applied for marriage licenses for the first time ever in the USA. It was fantastic. Just the spirit of goodwill and happiness (even the cops were friendly), the love in every corner of the building, the beautiful diversity of the couples -- it was just so lovely and I'm so glad we were there (even though I didn't get home till 1am and am now exhausted).

Hurrah! I just got an e-mail from HRC with a bunch of pictures of the couples.
