I did get my free ice cream at Baskin-Robbins last night. Having carefully checked the website to verify that Free Scoop Night was from 5pm-10pm, I left work a little early and went by the B-R near the office. The guy tried to tell me that free scoops didn't start till 6pm, and I was all set to argue with him, but then his manager told him to just give me the scoop, so he did, and all was well.

Then I spread the joy at daycare by telling the teachers about free scoop night. :)

Alas, I did not get my free scoop. I just wasn't in the mood to drive across town for it, so I instead settled for a fudge pop from the freezer at home. I'll have to keep my eye out for when Ben & Jerry's has one of those free scoop promotions again, since IIRC there's a Ben & Jerry's very close to my office. :-)

Well, as I posted yesterday, Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day was Tuesday (two days ago), so you're going to have to wait approximately 363 days for the next one. Alas.

But you can go to benjerry.com and sign up for their email newsletter so you'll have more warning next year! :)

I did see your post yesterday, but for some reason thought they did that a couple times a year.
