The subject line has nothing to do with anything except that it's the song that was playing in the daycare room and now is stuck in my head.

I spoke to the nurse-practitioner in my doctor's office about getting me tested for anemia. She asked whether I have "heavy periods." I explained that I am "not menstruating right now" on account of the breastfeeding. Later, upon contemplating this, I realized that as of next Tuesday it'll be a year and a half since I last menstruated. A whole eighteen months. Wow! And I ain't missin' it at all. ;) With everything that's going on right now, that would just be one more annoyance to deal with. So Aunt Flo and her psychotic homicidal fish can just stay away as long as she likes.

Now if I could just stop eating like I'm PMSing all the time.... ;)
