Sucky, sucky day

Started my Saturday off by going to Urgent Care to have my sore throat & cough looked at. On the bright side, Isaac behaved himself and charmed the doctor, and I don't have pneumonia. On the downside, that leaves me with the old "drink lots of fluids and try to rest" scenario. Not very satisfying.

Spent most of the rest of today at my mom's place in various sorts of agony. The sore throat was joined early on by a killer sinus headache that makes it hard to even look at the computer screen. hence shortness of this update ... more later.

Private to tiggrrl: I don't think I ever got around to telling you that I can't make the D.C. march. :( We're throwing my grandma's 90th birthday party that weekend.
