I asked my mom to bring me a half-gallon of milk when she came over last night. She said, "you want 2-percent, right?" I said no, I mostly use 1% now. She said okay. So she shows up with a half-gallon of ... one-and-a-half percent! WTF? Right there on the label, "1.5% milkfat." I never even heard of that before. What will they think of next? Some day will I tell Isaac to "run down to the store and get me a quart of one-quarter-percent and a half-gallon of one-and-seven-eighths-percent"?? Yeesh.

In house news, just got word that the sellers did in fact sign the P&S, so we are golden. Whee! Time to start lining up people to do the work that needs done before we can move in. The closing is scheduled for May 5th and I figure if we're lucky we can get all the work done and move in by June 1st. Do you think it's too early to start packing?

Guess it's also time to tell my landlord the news. I feel bad about it because he's such a great landlord. But OTOH he knows that ever since I got pregnant I've been saying I would need to move soon, so it's not like he's going to take it as a personal insult or anything.

Actually, 1.5% sounds good to me. I buy 2% for Ilana and 1% for me, and recently I was wishing I could just buy one container. I wonder if you can get that in organic?
