Maybe you've heard that here in the Northeastern U.S. we're having a bit of a cold snap. Today's high was allegedly 11F. Yesterday when I left for work, the lady on the radio said it was one degree above zero, with a wind chill of -10F. Whee! It's FUN when you leave a bottle of water in the car and it freezes within a half-hour! It's FUN when the air is actually colder than the OCEAN such that steam rises from the water! On the bright side, I went grocery shopping and bought some frozen entrees and didn't have to worry about leaving them in the car. :) On the even brighter side, so far my car has not yet refused to start. *cross fingers, knock wood*

The Patriots are playing as I type (it's 9:30pm, game started at 8) and the stadium actually contains a fair number of fans. These people are insane. This is yet another reason I stick with baseball: it's played at reasonable times of year.

This (the weather, not the football) is also yet another reason I'm not a dog person. Nuff said.

Remind me to update about the Isaac-eating-at-daycare situation.

In other news, check out http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=friend_whoring.

Now to crawl into a snug cozy bed and not get out until Monday morning, for preference.

I work in degrees C rather than degrees F, so I'll have to guess from context...

Damn, that is cold! Hope you and Isaac are wrapping up warm...

Well, 11F is approx. -11C (32F is freezing, or 0C) and zero F is approx. -18C. So that maybe gives you an idea. Yeah. It's cold. ;) Today it's up to 32 (zero C) but tomorrow and the next few days are supposed to be back to the single digits F (the negative teens C). Whee.
