danger will robinson!
Dec. 22nd, 2003 02:53 pmThey're making some changes to the network here at my company, which involves a lengthy process of copying and restoring everyone's profile, or some such. Basically, I couldn't use my computer for an hour or two, but I had to be around so I could type my password at various points in the process.
While this was going on, I got so bored I started clearing off my desk. I had a bunch of food on it, so I went to put it away in a drawer, and what did I discover in that drawer but ... a package of Thin Mints! Left over from last year's Girl Scout Cookie season.
They were still sealed in the plastic, so I opened them. Uh oh. ;)
OK, I did wander around the office giving away Thin Mints for a while, but I still probably wound up eating about two-thirds of the package. Urgh.
The saddest part is, I can't even bring myself to feel guilty about it. :)
Edit: Also, new icon! :)

Date: 2003-12-22 01:40 pm (UTC)In news to make you fear, Xander went from rocking on his hands and knees (with a little backwards movement because he just didn't have the coordination) to full-speed crawling, navigating a step up into the kitchen at his grandparents, and using anything -- your leg, the wall, a rail, my father's cane -- to get into a standing position, in less than a week.
Eeeeek! You've never seen floors and tables get cleared so fast.
As soon as his center of gravity shifts a bit so that he can balance, he'll be cruising (holding onto walls, couches, etc while shuffling along) and then it'll be toddling.
Fear, I say! Fear!
