website redesign complete...

mamajoanI finally finished my site redesign, although as previously stated I had to do a lot more futzing with CSS than I should have. :P Darn inconsistent browser compatibility. I tested it just briefly in lynx, as well as the other browsers -- here's hoping it's at least manageable in all browsers, if not extremely pretty.

It's not perfect. But then, what ever is? And I was getting pretty sick of the old design, so at least this is shiny-and-new. For a while, anyway.
You might notice it doesn't have any links to my fanfic. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with that. See, I keep thinking that I might want to use englishchick.com on my resume, to show potential employers that I can do HTML and stuff. And I really wouldn't want a potential employer stumbling across my fanfic. But on the other hand, my loyal fans (assuming I have any of those?) should still be able to find my fic! Sigh. I go back and forth on this question, like, constantly.
In other news, it seems that I'll be taking over as full webmistress of the site for my choir. The guy who's been sharing that duty with me is stepping down because he joined another choir and has no free time. I may do a complete redesign of the site ... if I have the energy. Which seems kind of doubtful at the moment, but we'll see. Whee.
