mamajoanI have a lot to say and it's all scattered in my brain so I'll start at the top and work my way back:
* Today is my first day at the office without the baby. He's at home with the sitter. I'm only mildly freaked. *g* Approx. 90% of me is sure that everything will be fine.
* Today is also Isaac's five-month birthday. And it's also the first anniversary of the day I found out I was pregnant. Yay!
* The other day I tried on my pre-pregnancy jeans and they fit! They're a little tight, but wearable -- and that's without doing anything specific to lose weight (although I have been making an effort to eat better because I'm breastfeeding). Yay! I'm psyched to not have to buy new jeans for this fall/winter. :)
* Have left Isaac with various other people recently and it's been mostly fine. More to say on that later.
* The mom/grandma-less weekend went fine, partly due to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
anotherjen inviting us to a party on Saturday. Now after we get through today, there's just tomorrow and then on Thursday we go to the airport and have to survive the trip to Phoenix, and then we'll have mom/grandma to help again.
