Also, today is apparently Love Your Body Day. I do love my body, even though it is flabby and I suspect it has actually gained weight back since having the baby. I love it because it has character and because it does amazing things, like grow an entire human being and then nourish that being so well that he grows and grows and grows. And then this body of mine somehow is still able to pick him up! LOL. I love it.

ide_cyan wrote a nice poem to her body. I'd do that too if I had time, but I don't. I will, however, link to the Ode to My Thighs that I wrote a while back. (Huh. Exactly one year before Isaac was born, in fact. Fancy that.)

Anyway, to sum up: loving your body good; loving whomever you choose good; evil conservatives enacting homophobic legislature bad; tree pretty.
