mamajoanI'm way behind on updating y'all, so, where to begin? Here's a fairly random collection of snippets to sum it up...
* GO RED SOX!
* Met potential babysitter. Adored her. Must come to terms with harsh reality of how much she's going to cost me.
* Have next Monday off work for Columbus Day or some such. Am extremely grateful.
* Caffeine-free for six days and counting. Urgh. Baby apparently sleeping better. Trying to convince self that these things are unrelated.
* Now two Angel episodes behind. Can't bring self to care much. Can't bring self to delete them off TiVo unwatched, either.
* Thoroughly disgusted by election of Governator, by Dubya declaring Heterosexual Privilege Week, and by the Vatican declaring that condoms actually help *spread* HIV, not prevent it.
* Becoming somewhat worried by newfound obsession with baby-carrying devices (e.g. slings, etc.). Have gone from owning one to three. Fear depletion of finances and destruction of shoulders.
* Isaac starting occasionally to giggle. May have to revoke prior statement that his smiles were cutest thing ever.
* Isaac's four-month birthday tomorrow. Wondering where the time went. His four-month checkup next Friday. Can't wait to find out how much he weighs now. Not looking forward to 4-month shots though.
Think that about covers it for now. More later (no, really ... possibly MUCH later, but still).
