The live-action version of "The Tick" is coming to DVD!!!! Woohoo! Cartoon purists, say what you will, but Patrick Warburton was *born* to play The Tick. I LOVED the live-action version. It ruled. Admittedly $23 is a bit steep for nine half-hour episodes (one of which was never aired!) but still. I might pay $23 just to hear him say, in the first episode, "Java Demon, you are now my bitch." Damn, that cracked my shit up. :)
Last night I dreamt that I told a grocery-store manager his cereals were arranged wrong, and he offered to pay me $10/hour to rearrange them. At first I was all, "oh, this will be easy," but once I got past the Chex, I realized it was going to be near impossible. Alphabetical? Sugared vs. not? Rice vs. corn vs. wheat? Brand? Augh!!! This was supposed to be easy! I volunteered for it because I thought I could handle it!
I don't think that dream is symbolic of anything going on in my life right now, do you? Naaaah.

Date: 2003-09-24 02:21 pm (UTC)I know that *I* will. Patrick Warburton was perfect. I only got four of the episodes on tape. My god, it was funny.
*dances at prospect of buying The Tick*
I suppose now would be a good time to purchase a DVD player, huh?
