Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] xochiquetzl for turning me on to Valley URL, which translates any website into Valley-Girl Speak. Bwahahaha!

I pointed it at Isaac's picture page and it starts off thusly:
"Isaac Solomon was like, you know, born on June 11, 2003, five and a half weeks before he was like, you know, due. Like, he weighed in at five pounds eight ounces and 18.5 inches long, totally MAJOR for a preemie!"
"Click any thumbnail to see the bigger version I am SO sure!"
"Isaac believes that any place is totally a bitchin' place for a snack. Luckily for him, his mommy totally has no modesty."

LOL! The sad part is, it sounds almost like something I would write. I use "like" and "totally" way too much.

Then I pointed it at a transcript of Bill Clinton's second inaugural address (http://www.bartleby.com/124/pres65.html) and here are a few excerpts:
"The promise of America was like, you know, born in the 18th century out of the bold conviction that like we are all created equal. It was like, you know, extended and preserved in the 19th century, when our nation spread across the continent, saved the union, and abolished the awful scourge of slavery."
"Along the way, Americans produced a totally awesome middle class and security in old age; built unrivaled centers of learning and opened public schools to all; split the atom and explored the heavens; invented the dweeb-toy and the microchip; and deepened the wellspring of justice by making a revolution in civil rights for African Americans and all minorities, and extending the circle of citizenship, opportunity and dignity to skanks."
"Beyond that, my fellow citizens, the future is totally up to us. Our founders taught us that the preservation of our liberty and our union depends upon responsible citizenship. Like, gag me with a spoon!"
"May those generations whose faces like we cannot yet see, whose names like we may never know, say of us here that like we led our beloved land into a studly century with the American Dream alive for all her children; with the American promise of a more perfect union a reality for all her shoppers; with America’s bright flame of freedom spreading throughout all the world.
Fer sure! From the height of this place and the summit of this century, let us go forth. May Gawd strengthen our hands for the bitchin' work ahead—and always, always bless our America."

*nods* Well said, Bill! *giggle*

I particularly enjoy running my fanfic through it. One gets things like 40-something Air Force Colonels saying,
"Harsh! Like, oh my gawd! but helpful. We could set up tables at all the exits and charge (like, that totally reminds me, I just got this radical studly gold card, so now I can totally do some MAJOR shopping) shoppers to leave! Like, oh my gawd! Brilliant idea, Daniel!" Jack said, fighting back an evil grin.
