The good news: they sent me home, and the baby is still inside where it belongs.

The bad news: I still have to be on bed rest. No getting up except to pee. Ah well.

I was a lazy baby, and didn't want to come out. Mama was waiting for two days before they said, "OK, let's have it over with now." I could have been two days older than Ruby, rather than born on the same day only later!!! (My childhood friend never lets me live that down.)
