I'm still not 100% sure that I like the ending, but I posted the story on my website; I just haven't linked it to my fic index page yet. But y'all can read it if you want. It's done, unless I decide to change the final sentence (yet again). ;) Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] simplelyric and [livejournal.com profile] fox1013 for beta-reading.

Breaking the Mold
Post-"Chosen" fic about Faith and (sort of) Wood.
NC-17, but only a little. (Whatever that means! Heh.)

Huh, I haven't written any fic in a LONG time. (At least, not that I've posted on my site. Just a couple of [livejournal.com profile] wednesday100 drabbles.) Feels like my fanficcing muscles are atrophying a bit. Ah well.

Happy to help, especially when it means I get to read a well-written story. =)

That's very, very interesting. And logical. And totally not what I expected.

Two small comments: you changed tense at times within the story, from past to present and vice versa. Looking at it again, I sort of see why, but maybe it would be better to stick to one tense -- present tense for this story, probably.

And "mad skilz?" Is that an expression I'm not familiar with?

Hope you have the option that notifies you by e-mail when someone makes a comment on your LJ turned on -- do you? Otherwise you might not see this.

"Mad skilz" is an expression from the rap/hip-hop world, which is also used a lot on the internet and especially LJ. It means basically what it sounds like: proficiency, adeptness. "Mad" as in considerable, "skilz" as in, duh, skills. Faith used it in the final episode of BTVS, in the scene where Wood is telling her she's bad in bed and she goes, "what?? I've got mad skilz!"

Woah...

That is very not how I would expect things to pan out.

But...

Yeah.
