* The fact that I can watch, and currently am watching, the 2003 National Spelling Bee on television. And not just on TV, but on ESPN, a sports network! Hee hee! It cracks me up that spelling is a sport. But it's cool to see these kids spelling these incredibly hard words. You go, kids!
* The fact that tonight I get to have dinner with a whole bunch of cool online people, includingplaidder! Who just doesn't come to the Boston area nearly often enough. Snif. But anyway, we're having a mini WOF/Sith Academy/ACIDIC get-together and it's going to rule. Yay!
* The weather today. But not cool in a low-temperature sense. It's cool in a "yay, it's finally a nice day!" sense.

Date: 2003-05-29 10:43 am (UTC)Here in Israel we have official bible competitions, where the competitors have to know obscure quotes from the bible. For some reason it is considered a very big deal.
I think the competition is rigged though. The winner is always either a new immigrant, a cripple or a very young kid. Never a "normal" person. It is possible though that normal people don't enter this competition.
