As always, from fridayfive.org.

1. What drinking water do you prefer -- tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
Purified, but not bottled purified; or bottled spring water. I don't have a problem with drinking tap water in principle, but the stuff from my tap at home tastes strongly of chlorine. Ick.

2. What are your favourite flavor of chips?
I'm assuming this is the American sense of chips, not the British. So I'll say Doritos. I'm not really big on potato chips (British "crisps").

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
There's a pretty limited selection of things I can cook. ;) So I'll say my spaghetti and artichoke-heart dish. Yum.

4. How do you have your eggs?
Scrambled -- sometimes with cheese and/or broccoli, but usually not. And I like to put the scrambled eggs on an english muffin. Yum.

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
I guess restaurant chefs don't count? ;) I don't know. I can't think of the last time someone other than me cooked for me. I don't think my mom heating up leftovers for me counts either. ;)

Spaghetti and artichoke hearts

I want to know about that, because I've tried making spaghetti with artichoke hearts after you mentioned it, and it's missing something. It's not butter, because I've tried adding that and it doesn't help (well, margarine). It doesn't seem to be sauteed carrots and onions, because good as they are by themselves on spaghetti, adding artichoke hearts didn't seem to go right. So what is it? How do you make your spaghetti and artichoke hearts dish?
