today is not going as planned

It's 10:30. By now I was supposed to be settling in with a leisurely cup of tea, the kids safely in the care of someone else, preparing myself for a productive morning with no distractions.

Instead I'm sitting here juggling a whiny baby, listening to my stomach growl, feeling a caffeine-withdrawal headache coming on, and waiting for the oil company to come make the delivery that they promised would arrive between 7 and 10.

It's 10:31......

sigh.
