mamajoan: me in hammock (OMG!)
So I spent the night without Isaac. I stayed up way too late playing computer games (although none of you came to IM me, pout) but still slept in till like 10am or something. Well, I woke repeatedly, but stayed in bed and dozed on and off.

Anyway, I didn't get around to calling my mom until about 12:30, and then she said since it was almost naptime she might as well just give Isaac his lunch and nap. She wants to go do something at 5, so I'm going to head over there to pick Isaac up in a little bit.

It'll have been almost 24 hours! OMG!! I don't think I've ever gone that long without seeing him. It's kind of weird.

And I haven't accomplished anything with this time, either. Well, okay, I washed a sinkful of dishes and cleaned out the litterbox, both of which badly needed doing. And I spent some time sorting out Isaac's winter clothes. I'm trying to figure out what I can send to an online friend who just moved from Florida to a place that gets actual weather, and who is kind of freaking out about being able to afford winter clothes for her kids. It sounds like her older two kids are too big for any of Isaac's stuff, but her baby might fit into some of it. [livejournal.com profile] anotherjen, [livejournal.com profile] ww1614, do you have any girls' stuff in size 3/4 that you don't need? Mostly she needs sweaters and pants....

I am bad at eyeballing clothes and knowing whether they will fit Isaac or be too big or small. I need to have him handy so I can hold stuff up against him. ;) So I have a big pile that is "figure out whether this will fit him this winter," and then smaller piles that are "definitely too small" or "definitely too big." And then there are sub-piles for the stuff that I think is ugly so it doesn't matter whether it fits him or not. ;)
