It's a good thing I'm about 95% recovered from my cold, because now I have a bunch of new physical complaints. Like the fact that I didn't get enough sleep last night (which I guess is as much a mental complaint as a physical), or the fact that while I was nursing Isaac to sleep for the second time at midnight, I apparently did something to my left shoulder/neck, so now it hurts to turn my head. :P I hate that.
I've been having all kinds of back-pain issues the last few weeks. Lower back, upper back, middle back: you name it, I've had a twinge or ache or throb or stab in it recently. I really have to make my massage appointment and find myself a new chiropractor. I've been saying that for ages, but I think now I'm going to actually do it. Maybe.
In cheerier news, this morning Isaac waved at the garbage truck while it was picking up our trash, and the garbage men waved back. That was cute. And Isaac's interest in fire trucks continues to grow; now he has learned the word siren and will even imitate one ("OH-oh-OH-oh"). It always makes me laugh, and think of the really bad joke about the suicidal trumpeter.
I also did get off my ass and send in my reimbursement form for my flexible spending account. They owe me over $600, so you'd think I could have done that a lot sooner. Ah well, it's done now.
