(no subject)

I bit the bullet and ordered the replacement hard drive for my TiVo. The guy on the phone said that I can return it if it doesn't fix the problem. I dithered over spending an extra $12 for faster shipping, but frugality won out.

As predicted, Isaac's 15-month checkup went fine. He is in excellent health and everything is good overall. He got two shots (which he handled pretty well -- didn't even peep at the first one, cried just for a moment with the second) and I was pleasantly surprised when the doctor told me that these will be his last shots until he is 4 years old. Yay!

I would love to offer rides to sunspiral and roozle's party tomorrow, but I don't know when I'll be going, or in fact whether I'll be going, after hanging out with plaidder in the morning and then going to the WGBH Ice Cream Fun-Fest in the afternoon (ww1614, are you still planning to come?). I might be too tired after all that. Alas.

Where Are My Child's Pants?!

LOL!

So yesterday my mom babysat for Isaac most of the day. When she picked him up, he was wearing a onesie and pants. The pants (jeans) were a little big but I had rolled up the legs and they were fine.

When I picked him up at mom's in the evening, he was still wearing the pants. I took him home, we played, I took pictures of him being cute, etc. Then I decided it was time to get ready for bed. I put him down on the changing table to change his diaper and clothes.

He wasn't wearing pants.

What the...?

Did my mom take his pants off before we left her house? But why would she do that? *scratch head*

Later, after he went to bed, I walked past the futon and noticed something on the floor. Huh ... his pants. Whadya know?

So basically, he crawled right out of his pants. While I was sitting right there taking pictures. And I never even noticed. Heh. I suck. ;)
