big things are afoot at the Circle K
Feb. 9th, 2004 12:46 pmFor one, it seems highly likely that my friend B. and I will be putting in an offer on a house today!! *runs around tearing out hair*
For another, my website is down :P which is annoying and I have, of course, an email in to the hosting folks. Doesn't it seem odd that I can still get my email even when the website is down? Or am I making too many assumptions...?
In other news, I'm thinking of adding a fourth day of daycare for Isaac. ( more blather about this )But nothing is decided yet on that front.
In still other news, I finally got around to calling my Massachusetts elected officials to tell them that I support gay marriage, dammit. The folks answering the phones said they are getting a LOT of calls on this issue, not surprisingly! The state legislature is supposed to meet on Wednesday to discuss a proposed amendment to the state Constitution, which would define marriage as between a man and a woman, blah blah homophobic-cakes. Both my state Senator and state Representative are already planning to vote against this, but it's still important to call! So that's my civic duty for the day, done. Woo.
Now to see what I can do about my little guy's hiccups. :)
