a non-baby-related post ... be shocked!
Jul. 12th, 2003 09:32 pmI had a sex dream about Michael Rosenbaum. Bizarrely, he was in drag and playing for the New York Yankees; we did it on the field. I take no responsibility for my subconscious. ;) In RL, I have no sex drive at all right now. Zero.

anotherjen was there and took pix) and the people hired to come get rid of it said the whole tree was rotted through and had to go. Very sad. I used to love to climb that tree when I was a kid, sit among its branches and watch the world go by.
I finished reading two of the Hugo-nominated novels -- Hominids by Robert Sawyer and The Years of Rice and Salt by Kim Stanley Robinson, both very engaging -- and got two others from the library. The fifth, The Scar by China Mieville, I got about a third of the way through and then lost steam; it just wasn't interesting me. Maybe I'll try to go back to it after I finish the rest. I don't know whether I can finish all of 'em by the voting deadline, which is July 31st, but we'll see. It actually didn't take me very long to get through the first two; you have a lot of time for reading while breastfeeding an infant. :)
