monday recap
Jun. 2nd, 2003 02:26 pmNot nearly enough people have read and commented on my new BTVS story. Snif.
Bini continues to be freaked out by the newly neat apartment. I wonder whether maybe the cleaning and his outdoor adventure are somehow linked in his little mind, like he thinks I did all that tidying and rearranging of furniture to punish him for being gone so long? Heh. Anyway, he wandered around the place all last night meowing anxiously, and when I went to bed he kept coming to snuggle but then jumping up again after a few minutes to go resume the wandering and meowing. Also, he went up on the changing table at one point and knocked off one of the baby toys with quite a loud clatter. We *did* do away with one of his favorite hiding places (underneath the changing-table, next to the radiator) and one of his favorite looking-out-the-window perches (a side-table that we moved), but, you know, he's just gonna have to deal.
I feel bad that he's so traumatized by all the turmoil, but geez, get over it already. ;) Poor kitty.
I was all paranoid driving to work this morning because of my purse being at mom's place. I don't like not having my license on me when I drive, and ever since I got a ticket for not having my car registration in the car, I'm paranoid about that too. I'll just have to hope that I don't get pulled over en route to mom's place tonight. Luckily, it's never hard to find a coworker to lend me lunch money, so I didn't have to starve. ;)
I'm relieved that the "Angel" season-premiere script that was floating around the 'net has been revealed to be fake. Am I the only one who was horrified by it? A lot of y'all seemed to find it amusing. But me, I could only cringe in horror and pray to Almighty Joss that it wasn't true. Ugh, it read like a particularly awful fanfic! But the Almighty heard my supplications, so, yay. ;)
