I had a nice relaxed New Year's with mom after having to call in sick to work on Tuesday because I still felt crappy. Guess the feeling fine on Sunday was just a decoy or something. Anyway, mom bought ice cream and chips and we watched three movies and despite reminding each other several times, forgot to stop the movie a few minutes before midnight to watch the ball drop. So we missed the ball dropping, stopped the movie at 12:01 and felt a little dumb but really who cares? ;) Then I slept over at mom's place, the next day we lazed around and watched the fourth movie and all was well.
Now I'm back at work with only my new Cat Lovers Against The Bomb calendar to brighten the daily grind. ;) Did you know that on Jan. 2nd, 1972, a Scottish cat turned 43?
