Damn. I want a permanent lj account. But I just can't see paying $100 for it. (OTOH, that's only four yearly accounts! Argh....)
General Updates:
I went to the gym last night, for the first time in many weeks. Ow. I suck. I'm so good at finding excuses to not go, so bad at forcing myself to actually go. Today I'm all achy, but it's no more than I deserve. :P
Bini is still apparently having some digestive issues. It's almost time for his annual vet visit anyway, so I guess I should make an appointment *sigh*.
I also really need to make an appointment to get my car taken care of. It needs an oil change in a serious way, plus one of the rear brake lights is out, plus a tire is all scraped up and the windshield has a huge crack. I thought about trying to replace the brake light myself, but I looked at the thing and couldn't even figure out how to get to it. There were no visible screws, and that's the limit of my expertise. ;) My car is happenin' now, though, with its new "Without Dissent It's Not America" bumper sticker. Yay for gwbush.com!
Tonight, the "Buffy" and "Smallville" season premieres. I wish I were as excited about them as everyone on my lj friends list seems to be. *sigh* It's not that I think they're going to suck or anything, it's just that I was kind of enjoying the freedom of rerun season. And much as I like to think that I'm going to stop doing the Buffy transcripts, realistically I know I won't. I have no self-control. (I was really hoping to finish off S6 before S7 started, but that didn't happen. I finished Villains late last week, but haven't gotten to "Two to Go/Grave" yet. I really gotta do them, get 'em off the TiVo already. And don't even get me started on how much I want to upgrade my TiVo with more disk space.
Speaking of disk space, I also can't decide what to do about my computer situation. I really need a new one, but I a) can't decide whether to get a Mac or a Windoze machine, and b) would want Win98 or maybe 2000 but not XP, which is hard to find in new. Oh, and of course c) can't really afford much. Sigh.
'Nuff bitching. Back to work.
