blah update cakes
Sep. 11th, 2002 05:33 pmI feel like I should say something pithy about the anniversary today, but, I got nothin'. So. What's going on in my life...
Chorus rehearsals started last night. I was in a terrible mood (bad day ... details in my friends-only post of yesterday) so if I say it went really badly, that would probably be a misrepresentation. It probably went fine except for me being a bitch. ;) It was cool to "reunite" with all the other folks that I hadn't seen since spring. As usual, our conductor has an (IMO) overly ambitious plan for the spring concert, but, well, we'll just see how it all turns out. Of course, my voice is all out of shape, so my throat started hurting almost immediately, which didn't help with the bitchy.
Oh, and the chiropractor visits are going REALLY well. On Monday, she did this thing she always does where she digs her thumbs really hard into this one spot, and it always hurts like hell. But on Monday, it didn't hurt at all!! I was so excited. She says that my pelvis is finally starting to hold the adjustments from one visit to the next. Yay.
In amusing news that seamlessly combines the previous two topics, after choir rehearsal I was talking to the roommate of the chick who recommended this chiropractor for me, and I mentioned it, and she said "ooh, I've been trying to get that phone number." So I gave her the chiropractor's card. I just thought that was funny, that she lives in the same house as the person who gave me the number, and yet, she has to get the number from me, whom she hasn't seen in three months. Hee!
I've got Bini on a new cat-food because he was having diarrhea and a bit of barfing. He's on special food for "seniors" now, which of course is more expensive (sigh), and he's constipated now, poor boy. I'm hoping it's just a "changing to new food" adjustment thing.
I think that's all the news that's fit to print from me. For the moment. ;)
