Yesterday was also my cousin Jennah's birthday. If my math is correct, she turned eighteen. Man, does that make me feel old. *groan*
I slept over at mom's place last night to keep her kitties company on (what they don't know was) their last night without mom. Mister Softie saw fit to wake me with a paw in the face around 4:30am. And 4:45. And 5:00. And ... you get the picture. *sigh* I say again, it's a damn good thing they're so cute. ;)
And now, the Friday Five:
1. What was your most memorable moment from the last week?
I'll have to say last Saturday's peace protest, which turned out quite differently from what I expected. I wrote about it here.
2. What one person touched your life this week?
My friend C., who called long-distance to say she's been thinking about me.
3. How have you helped someone this week?
I explained to many many people how to edit community posts on livejournal. ;) Just because it's a personal peeve doesn't mean it wasn't helping, right? ;) Of course I also helped my mom by entertaining her kitties, taking out her trash, vacuuming her kitty-fur-encrusted carpet....
4. What one thing do you need to get done by this time next week?
Pay the rent, I guess. There's plenty that I would like to get done, or that I need to get done "soonish," but that's the only within-the-next-week necessity that comes to mind.
5. What one thing will you do over the next seven days to make your world a better place?
I'll go to another anti-war demonstration tomorrow. And I'll probably continue to speak out against the war, post articles and such about it to help educate people, etc.
