WOFsters on livejournal, welcome two new ones: [livejournal.com profile] plaidder and [livejournal.com profile] daharyn! Yay! Add them to your friends-lists! :)

That brings us up to, let's see, thirteen: [livejournal.com profile] azurelunatic, [livejournal.com profile] bearblue, [livejournal.com profile] d_and_cats, [livejournal.com profile] daharyn, [livejournal.com profile] frightened, [livejournal.com profile] lilka, [livejournal.com profile] lovessong, [livejournal.com profile] marcie, [livejournal.com profile] plaidder, [livejournal.com profile] retch, [livejournal.com profile] rliz, [livejournal.com profile] xochiquetzl, and me. Although I'm probably forgetting someone, so whoever it is, sorry! But not all of y'all have "Women On Fire" listed in your LJ interests, so go add it now!

Anyone reading this who STILL doesn't know what WOF is, it's a brilliant work of fiction; go read it now!

(edited to add [livejournal.com profile] azurelunatic, d'oh)

Besides, you already listed Joan in your list; you can't help it if that made you forget me! :P

How can [livejournal.com profile] retch be a WOF?

Oh, and I'm convinced already, which book would you recommend I start with?

Woohoo! And also LOL, because we're doing that "which book should new readers start with" debate on the list right now. I say that all new readers should start with Taken Child, because it was written first and thus is (in my opinion) the best introduction to the characters and the world. Others argue that new readers should start with Better to Burn, because a) it takes place first chronologically and b) Plaidder wants to know how well the series works if you start with B2B, and so far she hasn't gotten anyone to read them that way and tell her.

He's not a WOF, silly, he's a WOFster. That is, a fan of the fiction series titled Women On Fire. Although technically I think you have to belong to the yahoogroups list in order to really be a WOFster, but [livejournal.com profile] retch fits that definition too. :)

The only actual WOFs are the characters. :)

WOF
