Tired, as usual. So nu, as we Jews would say?

My belly still doesn't seem any bigger no matter how much I stare at it. I do, however, need to go buy bigger bras -- again! I've already gone up one cup size since getting pregnant and now it looks like I need to go up another one. It's times like these I think it's too bad I don't have a partner, because at least this is something s/he could enjoy. ;)

In other news, I hear from mom that my brother got laid off. He called me last night and probably would have told me this himself except that I told him to go away because I was already in bed. Not his fault; he calls late because he's in a different time zone, and normally 11pm wouldn't be too late at all. But these days I go to bed much earlier than I used to. So he said he'd try to call back again tonight, earlier. And then I got the news from mom anyway.

So, anyone knows of job opportunities in the Phoenix/Mesa area (Arizona), think of my brother, willya? He has seven (feline) mouths to feed, plus his own.

In the "instant karma" department, man accidentally shoots self while trying to beat dog to death with gun. Man dies; dog survives (although with unknown injuries). Yep, that payback's a bitch. Pun intended.

Home now. Need sleep. Up early tomorrow. Wish me luck at the roulette and blackjack tables. And maybe craps if I feel daring. :)

What's his specialty? If he is cool for doing rage-honing phone work, Research International is an excellent place for honing rage and hatred.

I don't know that he really has a specialty. His degree is in theater, but he has decent computer/web skills. I don't know if he'd want to do phone work, but he seems to be okay with rage-honing. ;)

If he has his own transportation, temp agencies are evidently where it's at. Other than that, I haven't the foggiest who is and isn't hiring... well, except for the movie theatre and Subway, who always are...

Say,what kind of job does your bro need? I have relations in Arizona (not in Phoenix, but I may be able to Kevin Bacon that far, depending on what your brother is looking for).

I think he's open to a lot of possibilities, like office work, computer work (he knows basic computer stuff, HTML, etc.), theater work obviously since it's what his degree is in, and he's been working in electronics sales (high-end TVs, DVD, stereo systems, etc.) for a while now so he knows about that stuff although he really does NOT want to get back into sales. Basically, anything he can do that isn't flipping burgers, you know?

Hmm, maybe I should ask him whether he wants to bartend. He did some of that in London ages ago, but couldn't do it when he got back to the States because he was underage. Crazy, eh? :)
