mamajoanEven when I try to take a short shower, and believe that I have taken a short shower, it still somehow ends up having been far longer of a shower than it should have been, and then I'm late for work. Even though I got up early to take the shower.
And then I thought maybe since I was already late I should put off taking the rent by. But then I thought, here it is the 4th already. And I know my landlord doesn't care if the rent arrives on the 1st or the 4th, but I still feel bad when I don't bring it by on the 1st (or before). Especially in months when the 1st is a weekend day so I really have no excuse. (Hell, my landlord lives like four blocks away so I really have no excuse ever.) So I took it by, and was late for work. No one cares anyway. I'll stay a little later tonight to make up.
The best thing about winter is sleeping in my warm cozy waterbed. The worst thing about winter is having to get out of my waterbed into a very cold apartment. As if it weren't already hard enough to get out of bed of a morning...!
