Nah... I only wish I had a life. My day was spent studying, writing a paper, cleaning the kitchen, and doing my laundry. Sadly, that leaves very little time for me to have internet fun.

Still figuring it out

I'm still feeling my way around in Live Journal, so I don't post every day. The reason is that I don't know if I should be talking to myself, to others, or what. I suspect LJ should be just what one makes of it. Any feelings on this?

Well, there obviously aren't any "should"s, so you should just do whatever makes you comfortable. I generally sort of imagine that I'm talking to a friend who just said, "so, what's on your mind at this particular instant in time?" or "so, what's going on in your life today?" And I assume it's a friend who actually cares about all the boring details of my life, like what I had for lunch or what I watched on TV last night or whatever.

And then sometimes I get annoyed or excited or whatever about something, and feel a need to share (you're on a list with me, so you know I do this a lot!) so I just go dash it off on livejournal too. Core-dump, as we like to call it.

But essentially what you said, "just what one makes of it." Whatever makes you comfortable, you know?

I'm <b>way</b> super-busy right now, because I'm doing layout for the <a href"http://www.ancientways.com/">PantheaCon</a> program book <i>and</i> putting together a presentation for the Con and basically I haven't had time to post even though there's stuff going on I should be posting about. I only have time to read other people's entries and make brief comments.
