Happy Samhain
Oct. 31st, 2002 02:13 pmI ended up not doing anything really costume-y. I wore all black, and my tan shirt with my company's logo on it, and I brought in my plastic devil-horns that light up to wear on my head. I figured it was a very subtle way of saying that Work Is Hell. ;)
I still feel pretty crappy. :P The cold has moved most of the way out of my throat and into my sinuses. Whee.
I posted some pictures of Nomar and Mr. Softie (my kitties who live with my mom) in
kittypix. Here's the post. Aww, they are so cute! :)
Pleasantly surprised by last night's "West Wing" episode. More on that later.
There's another anti-war rally, this time in Boston, this Sunday. I'm going to go; but I'm also sadly going to skip Saturday's 30th-birthday party for a chick in my chorus. If I hadn't been sick all week I'd definitely try to go because she's cool and her new husband, our accompanist, is throwing her a surprise party and they're just so cute and I bet it'll be fun. But I'm really going to want to veg out Saturday, especially with the rally being Sunday and United Fan Con next weekend. (I can't believe it's almost time for UFC already. Gigi Edgley! Anthony Simcoe! Lani Tupu! *falls over in a puddle of helpless drool*)
Speaking of chorus, I uploaded my redesign of the chorus website. I think it looks great. Of course, it'd be more impressive if you could see the mess it was before I redesigned it. But still, I'm proud of it. I just hope it looks passable in older browsers -- all I had to test it with was IE6 and Netscape 4.7, both on Windoze. I should fire up my Mac and look at it in Netscape 4 for Mac.
In other news, there is no other news. Well, none that comes to mind at the moment, anyway. Did I mention that I still feel crappy? :P
