mamajoanThanks to BMG and their bizarre new policies that I don't understand at all (e.g. giving out "get a free CD" coupons like candy), I managed to get the complete set of Glenn Gould recordings of the Bach Well-Tempered Clavier for the price of shipping. This is for two two-disc sets -- four discs in all. On Amazon, each set sells for $28.99. Total cost on Amazon: $57.98. Total amount that I paid: $9.56.

And: Damn, he plays the E-minor fugue from Book I fast! I've been trying to play that one at home and I had no idea it was meant to be *that* fast. Yikes. I've got a lot of work to do.
