why I hate autumn
Sep. 26th, 2002 10:47 amMy dwarf count today is two: Sneezy and Dopey. I finally had to break down and take a Sudafed this morning. I generally don't like to take drugs for my allergies (or when I have a cold) because I'm a hippie-dippie "don't put foreign substances in my body unless absolutely necessary" type. But you know, one has to evaluate one's standards of absolutely necessary sometimes, and the sneezing was just too much this morning.
Sudafed is a miracle drug. I swear. (Another reason not to take it too often: it might lose its potency.)
I didn't watch "West Wing" last night because for some foolish reason I opted instead to watch the Red Sox get officially eliminated from contention (although, during the commercials I did get a little bit done on the Buffy transcript for "Two to Go"). If I had realized that the WW premiere was two hours, I might have watched it while it was airing, sigh ... now it's another two-hour block on my TiVo that I'll need to watch, and I can't watch it tonight because there's "Friends" and "ER." (Yes, I am planning to watch "Must-See TV." I promised myself that I would watch just the first episode of "ER" and then start trying to give it up.) I did watch the "West Wing" teaser and was pleased to see Stockard Channing in the opening credits -- I had read that she was becoming a regular but forgot about it. That's cool. I love her, although she will always be Rizzo to me. (Have I ever mentioned the time I saw Lucy Lawless as Rizzo on Broadway?)
Wow, am I ever rambling or what?
jennyo put out a call for Wes/Lilah smut and I want to write some, I really do, but I have to finish figuring out how Lex lost his virginity first. I blame
thamiris for that. I've also had a mild resurgence of motivation for my other epic fanfic tale, although knowing me, that'll pass within a few days. *grump*
Gotta go. I'm taking a long lunch to meet friends, so I should get some work done first.
