another meme
Sep. 18th, 2002 03:01 pmI don't feel like posting about what I'm really depressed about today, so instead,
I'll do that "post your TV viewing schedule for the upcoming season" meme. Whee.
Sunday
That'll be Angel, at least for the first few eps; if it starts to suck I'll give it up. Maybe. I may also catch The Simpsons on occasion. I may also start going next door to watch QAF again, if it's not on at the same time as Angel. (But first I'd have to get caught up on the, like, dozen episodes from last season that I haven't seen yet.) (And if Showtime picks up Farscape, I'll subscribe to it and not need to go next door for QAF.)
Monday
I shall valiantly endeavor NOT to resume watching "Boston Public." Just because I watched the season finale is not a reason to start watching it again. No no no. Dammit. I probably *will* end up watching "Animal Precinct," though, assuming they still show it at 9pm (on Animal Planet channel).
Tuesday
The real busy night again. I've decided to just give up on "24" altogether. So it's Buffy at 8 and Smallville at 9. I might try to tape "That 70s Show" and watch it after Smallville. Or not. Of course, Tuesday is also chorus rehearsal night so the reality is probably closer to: get home from rehearsal at midnight, sleepily watch Buffy, stagger to bed, watch Smallville on Wednesday.
Wednesday
West Wing, unless I get too disgusted with how they get rid of Sam (and how they got rid of whatshisface the Secret Service guy). South Park. Insomniac with Dave Atell? (I'm not sure whether they're going to move that one to another night. They've moved it around a lot.)
Thursday
I shall endeavor, and probably fail, to avoid Must-See TV. So it's Friends, Will & Grace, that doctor comedy, then a half-hour during which I refuse to watch Just Shoot Me, then an hour during which I tell myself I'm not going to watch ER but watch it anyway.
Friday
Joss Whedon's new thing, Firefly. Also Farscape when it returns for the second half of its season (snif!).
Saturday
SNL, MadTV.
Of course, there's also The Daily Show, Mon-Thurs at 11pm. I never miss that. I am Jon Stewart's bitch.
That's really way too much tv already. Which is why I haven't mentioned any of the new shows, except Firefly. Yeah, there are some new things that sound interesting, but I just don't want to add MORE to my viewing schedule. Ya know?

Date: 2002-09-18 12:59 pm (UTC)Hey, me too! It really reminded me of how much I loved that show, back before I discovered Buffy. It's so damn cute.
I'm sorry that every other damn show I enjoy is crammed in on Tuesday nights, because the adventures of Donna and Eric were casualties of my Gilmore Girls and Buffy love.
Totally, what you said. Tuesday is just unbelievably crowded! On the bright side, That 70s Show is in syndication now, so I can get caught up. It runs at least two times a day on my various local channels.

I do need to start watching the reruns.
