mamajoanBefore I went off to Worldcon, I wrote a post about friends who don't call you back. Well, the friend I was talking about there finally surfaced -- left a message on my voicemail at work. So, now it's back on me to return the call. I'm not so petty as to make him wait as long as he made me wait. ;) But work is busy today, so he'll probably have to wait till at least tomorrow.
Meanwhile, another friend whom I called during my freak-out last week, still doesn't call me back, but at least she emailed. *meaningful look* Yeah, you're reading this, you know who you are.
In unrelated news, mom and I went to our last Red Sox game of the season last night (*snif*) and I was greatly amused to learn that the Cleveland Indians have a player named Coco Crisp. I swear. How can you take a guy seriously with a name like that?
